Warranty & Service

At Farmers Doors, we are committed to delivering products of exceptional craftsmanship and durability. We take great care in sourcing premium materials and applying quality-controlled finishing processes, which allow us to confidently offer a limited seven (7) year warranty.

At Farmers Doors, we stand behind the quality of our painted timber components. For 7 years from the date of delivery, we guarantee they will be free from the manufacturing defects outlined below, including issues related to materials and workmanship.

This warranty covers:

• Delamination or excessive peeling of paint under normal residential use

• Paint discolouration caused by faulty materials or application

• Manufacturing defects in timber substrate or joinery

This warranty does not cover:

• Raw Farmers Doors products that have been painted or finished by others.

• Carcasses, benchtops, appliances, hinges, drawer runners, or whitegoods, as these are supplied by third parties and fall under the warranty of the joiner or relevant supplier. Please contact your builder or construction company for further details.

• Commercial use, or any relocation of componentry from its original installed position.

• Incorrect storage, abuse, or improper cleaning methods, including the use of harsh chemicals, water damage, etc.

• Damage caused by exposure to excessive heat or sunlight, flooding, broken water outlets, or impact-related incidents.

• Normal wear and tear, such as surface scratches, minor chips, or scuffs.

• Natural characteristics of timber, including grain variation, tone differences, knots, or minor movement (such as cupping, bowing, or hairline cracks), which are considered part of the handmade and organic nature.

• Products not stored, installed, or maintained in accordance with the Farmers Doors and the ACCC Care & Maintenance Guidelines.

• Alterations or modifications made to the products without prior written approval from Farmers Doors.

• Incidental labour costs for the removal or reinstallation of defective products, as well as any consequential or incidental damages.

• The cost of removing defective items under this warranty — this remains the responsibility of the cabinet maker, installer, or end user.

• Freight charges to return items to the Farmers Doors factory for assessment, repair, or replacement, including transport of doors, drawers, or panels, where necessary.

To ensure the longevity of your painted timber components, please refer to and follow the Farmers Doors Care & Maintenance Guidelines, provided at the time of delivery or available upon request.

To make a claim under this warranty, please contact us within a reasonable timeframe from when the issue is identified, and provide:

• Proof of purchase

• Description of the issue

• Supporting photos

We reserve the right to inspect the product before accepting any claim.

If your claim falls outside the scope of this warranty, Farmers Doors will still work with you to offer a suitable solution. We can provide guidance on how to rectify the issue and offer competitive pricing on any replacement or repair of Farmers Doors products.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
