
Second Act - Inside Out
Heather Low’s first renovation project (featured previously in Inside Out) began as a simple kitchen upgrade, which quickly grew to incorporate the entire ground floor of the home where she and her late husband had raised their two sons. So, when Heather contacted Cate Liedtke of Catherine de Meur Interiors to discuss a follow-up bathroom renovation, Cate suspected that this job might snowball, too.

Heather Low’s first renovation project (featured previously in Inside Out) began as a simple kitchen upgrade, which quickly grew to incorporate the entire ground floor of the home where she and her late husband had raised their two sons. So, when Heather contacted Cate Liedtke of Catherine de Meur Interiors to discuss a follow-up bathroom renovation, Cate suspected that this job might snowball, too.


Heather and Cate agreed that a larger bathtub deserved a larger bathroom, which would mean moving interior walls or completing absorbing another room to allow for it. Suddenly, all of the upstairs area was in play. While the two women brainstormed, the coronavirus pandemic was taking hold, restricting Heather’s activities outside of the home. It was all the encouragement she needed to expand the scope of the new renovation. “Everything that happened last year really highlighted to me how beneficial it can be to live in a space that you love,” she explains
